     Acting on a request from Don Canaday, Kiwanis International President [2008-2009], the Kiwanis International Foundation is establishing a scholarship fund to honor his beloved wife, Linda Canaday, who died of complications from surgery.

     Linda Canaday was a former teacher and, along with her husband, associated with Kiwanis for many years. Donations will help fund scholarships for Key Club students.

“I can think of nothing that would honor Linda more than a fund such as this,” said Don Canaday. “Through this tribute, her love of children, shown through her teaching and her committed and caring compassion for children through Kiwanis will live on.”
